When doing a test submission and trying to make a payment with my credit card, I receive this message:

User authentication failed due to invalid authentication values.

    What does this mean?

    Hi,

The error message "User authentication failed due to invalid authentication values" typically indicates an issue with the payment gateway authentication settings on your form.

To help you better, could you please provide the link or ID of the form where you are encountering this issue? Once I have that, I can check the form settings and assist you further.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi,

Form 'Online Payment 2026-2027 Parent-Sponsored School Bus Registration Form and Agreement' (ID: 260646937958173). It appears your payment form's Authorize.Net connection is successfully completed. We cleared your form caches. Please retry, and if access issues persist, please let me know with the details.

    Hi buses_buses54,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The error most likely refers to the API login, Transaction Key, or Client ID. Can you double-check if you have entered the updated credentials when you set up the Authorize.net payment gateway connection in your account? Try generating a new transaction key within your Authorize.Net account settings.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
