Podo: Support SpecialistHi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Regarding the issue with the date being correct in the PDF preview but wrong in the email sent, this often happens because the PDF document attached to the email may not be updated or synced with the latest form changes.
Let me help you with that:
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Go to the PDF Editor from the app selector panel in the upper-left corner.
- Check if the PDF document attached to the email is the latest version. If not, create a new PDF document by clicking the Add New PDF button and selecting Use Default Layout.
- Delete the old PDF document tab to avoid confusion.
- Save the changes and test sending the email again.
This process ensures that the PDF attached to the email reflects the correct dates and updated information from your form.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Sarah,
If everything in your form and PDF Editor looks correct but the generated email still shows the wrong date, it could be due to the PDF document attached to the email not being updated properly.
Here’s how to ensure the PDF attachment is updated and synced with your form:
- Open your form in Form Builder.
- Go to PDF Editor from the app selector panel in the upper-left corner.
- Create a new PDF document by clicking the Add New PDF button and selecting Use Default Layout.
- Delete the old PDF document tab to avoid confusion.
- Save the changes.
- Go to Settings > Emails, edit the notification or autoresponder email, and make sure the PDF attachment option is enabled under the Advanced tab.
This process forces the system to use the latest PDF version with the correct date when sending emails.
If the issue persists, please double-check any date fields in your form to ensure they are correctly set and not overridden by any conditional logic or calculation.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Gian_D JotForm SupportHi Bethesda_admin,
I've checked the PDF documents on your PDF Editor, but the date indicated on it is correct. I saw that you have multiple PDF documents on your PDF Editor, but all of those documents have the same content. Can you delete the other PDF documents on your PDF Editor and try to download the PDF document version of your form submission again to see if it's going to work? Let me show you how to do it:
1. In PDF Editor, click on the Three Dots icon in your PDF document tab on the upper part of the page.
2. Then, click on Delete in the menu that opens.3. After that, click on Yes, Delete in the pop-up window.
That's it. If the issue still persists, can you tell us how you download your PDF document for us to investigate it further?
As soon as we hear back from you, we can work on getting you a solution for this.
