    Hello,

I am currently trying to enable debit and credit card payments directly on my form, but I am encountering an issue.

The form is connected to PayPal, and payments made through PayPal are working correctly. I can also see an option for debit/credit card payments on the PayPal checkout page. However, I would like users to be able to enter their card details directly on the form, without being redirected to PayPal or required to select the PayPal option.

Could you please advise if this is possible with the current PayPal integration, or if additional configuration is required?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Anitha,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your question about enabling debit and credit card payments directly on your form without redirecting users to PayPal's checkout page, the current PayPal integration in Jotform does not support direct card entry on the form itself. Instead, when using PayPal integration, users are redirected to PayPal's secure checkout page where they can choose to pay via PayPal balance, linked accounts, or directly with a debit or credit card.

This means that while you can enable the option for debit or credit card payments within the PayPal checkout page, users cannot enter their card details directly on your Jotform form without being redirected to PayPal.

If you want to accept card payments directly on your form without redirection, you might consider using other payment gateways supported by Jotform that allow direct credit/debit card processing on the form.

My organization uses PayPal for its forms, and would like to continue with the platform. Is there a way to modify the form so the radio buttons for debit/credit card and PayPal are hidden, and instead the links for PayPal checkout and Debit/credit card are displayed? See the below screenshot as reference.

    Hi Anitha,

Regarding your request to modify the form so that the radio buttons for debit/credit card and PayPal are hidden, and instead display links for PayPal checkout and Debit/credit card payments, the current PayPal integration in Jotform does not provide an option to customize the payment method selection UI in that way.

However, you can use the following approach to manage payment options:

    • Use a Single Choice element (radio buttons) to set up your payment options field, such as PayPal and other offline payment methods.
    • Set up Show/Hide Field conditions to display the respective payment fields or instructions based on the user's selection.
    • For PayPal payments, users will still be redirected to the PayPal checkout page to complete the payment.

This setup allows you to control which payment options are shown and provide additional information or links, but the actual payment method selection within PayPal's checkout page cannot be replaced or hidden on the form itself.

If you want a more customized payment experience, you might consider other payment gateways that support direct card entry on the form.
