    Hello,

We are trying to show a form that we cloned from another one renamed to the new forms name and not "Clone" of what the other forms name is. We have checked to make sure the name of the new form is not related to the old, which it is not but when you open the link in a web browser the name at the top of the form says "Clone". Are you able to assist us with getting the "Clone" and old form name changed to the correct new name?

    Hi Sean,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

When you clone a form in Jotform, the cloned form's name is automatically prefixed with "Clone of" followed by the original form's name. This name appears in your workspace and in the Form Builder. However, to change the name that appears at the top of the form when opened in a web browser (the page title), you need to update the Page Title separately in the form settings.

Let me help you with that:

    1. Open your cloned form in Form Builder.
    2. Click on the Settings tab in the top orange navigation bar.
    3. Under Form Settings, click on Show More Options at the bottom.
    4. Scroll down to the Page Title section and enter the new title you want to appear on the browser tab instead of "Clone" or the old form name.
    5. Click anywhere outside the input box to save the changes.

This will update the title shown at the top of the form in the web browser tab to your desired new name.

Additionally, you can rename the form itself in your workspace or in the Form Builder by clicking the form name and editing it, but the page title requires the steps above to update.

If you want to see how cloning and editing a form's title works visually, you can watch the video How to Clone and Edit Forms on Jotform at 0:16. It shows how the cloned form opens with the "Clone of" prefix and how to edit the title.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
