Podo: Support SpecialistHi Stephanie,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Although it's not directly possible to have 2 email fields as the recipient of an Autoresponder, as a workaround for that, you can combine 2 email fields into a Short Text field using Conditional Logic. Let me show you how to set it up:
- Open your form in Form Builder, and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Basic tab on the left, drag and drop a Short Text field to your form.
- Then, in the orange navigation bar at the top of Form Builder, click on Settings.
- Under the Conditions tab on the left, create a Condition to combine (comma separated) the 2 email fields into the Short Text field.
- Now, above the Conditions tab on the left, click on the Emails tab.
- Click on your Autoresponder and set the Recipient as the name of the Short Text, which is the combined emails field.
That's it. Here's how it’ll function:
You can always hide the Short Text later on. You can also test out a demo form and clone it to your account.
Reach out again if you need any other help.

lotus_processingOh.... so the auto repsonder can only go to one email address, even if there are two fields set up to receive one? Can a notification email go to more than one email address?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Stephanie,
To clarify, an Autoresponder email in Jotform can only be sent to one email address field at a time. However, you can use the workaround I mentioned earlier by combining multiple email fields into one Short Text field using Conditional Logic, then set that combined field as the recipient for the Autoresponder.
Regarding Notification emails, yes, they can be sent to multiple email addresses directly. Here's how you can do it:
- In Form Builder, go to the Settings tab.
- Select the Emails tab from the left side.
- Edit your Notification Email by clicking the pencil icon.
- Go to the Recipients tab and under Recipient Email, add multiple email addresses separated by commas.
- Save your changes.
Note: Starter (Free) accounts can only add one notification email template with one recipient per form. Paid accounts can add multiple email templates with multiple recipients, but it is recommended to add up to 10 recipients per template.
This way, you can have notifications sent to the selected Processor, Loan Officer Email, and LOA Email if filled in.
Let me know if you need help setting this up.

lotus_processingHow does the notification email tab work? I have conditions set that only the selected processor receives the notification email, but on the notificaition email recipient defaults to my email address on the recipient tab.

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Stephanie,
In Jotform, the Notification Email recipient tab defaults to your account email address unless you specify otherwise. When you set conditions for the notification email to be sent only to the selected processor, the form still retains the default recipient email address in the Recipients tab.
Here’s how it works:
- The default recipient email address is set to your account email in the Recipients tab of the Notification Email settings.
- Conditional logic can override this by specifying which email address should receive the notification based on your form’s conditions (e.g., the selected processor).
- If the conditions are met, the notification will be sent to the email address specified by the condition instead of the default recipient.
Make sure your conditions are correctly set up under the Conditions tab using the Change Email Recipient option, and that the Notification Email is properly linked to those conditions.
You can also verify and edit these settings by going to Settings > Emails, then editing the Notification Email and reviewing the Recipients and Conditions tabs.
Let me know if you need detailed steps on setting up or troubleshooting this.
