Merge Tag: Showing Calculated Value Instead of Dropdown Text

I am trying to add the form field value into the paragraph from my drop down "Stallions"

It only shows the calculated value, not the actual drop down text that I want it to show. I've tried everything but can't fix it. Please help.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The calculation values added to the dropdown options will override their labels. To display the labels instead, conditionally insert the string value into a short text field, such as the Stallion Name field in your form. Then include this field in the paragraph. Set up a condition similar to the one shown in the screenshot:

The field Stallion displays the price, and the field Stallion name displays the selected option from the dropdown. Set up the paragraph field in the same format as shown in the following screenshot:
