    Hello,

Last week my customer tried to attach photos to my jotform so that we could do an estimate for her and they wouldnt upload.

Today another customer called and let me know that they "verify you are a human' wouldnt work and they ended up calling us directly instead of using the jotform on our website.

Can you see if there are issues and how we can get them corrected? We are entering our busy work season and want to ensure everything is running smoothly.

    Thank you!

    Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding the issues with photo uploads and the "verify you are a human" captcha not working on your form, here are some important points and troubleshooting steps:

    • File Upload Issues: Sometimes, file uploads may fail due to network problems, form cache issues, or incorrect form settings. Clearing your form's cache can help resolve upload problems.
    • Captcha Verification Problems: The captcha field is essential for preventing spam. If the captcha isn't working, ensure that the captcha field is properly added to your form and configured. You can use either hCAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA.
    • Common Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Clear Form Cache: This can resolve many issues related to form loading and functionality.
    2. Check Internet Connection: Ensure your customers have a stable internet connection when submitting files.
    3. Verify Captcha Setup: In the Form Builder, confirm the captcha field is present and correctly set up.
    4. Check Form Status: Make sure your form is enabled and not disabled or deleted.
    5. Domain Usage: Use the correct Jotform domain (e.g., jotform.com, jotform.us) depending on your location.

If these steps do not resolve the issues, the problem might be more specific, and further investigation may be needed.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for reaching out! Following up on the tips already shared. Those troubleshooting steps are a great starting point, especially clearing the form cache and double-checking your captcha setup.

If you’ve already tried those and are still running into issues with photo uploads or the captcha, we can try something else. Sometimes these problems can be caused by more specific settings or browser conflicts, and I’d be happy to help pinpoint exactly what’s happening so your form works smoothly for your users.

Let us know how it goes.
