Upload Space Limit: How Upload Space Usage is Calculated and Reduced

We received a notice that our account is approaching the upload space limit.

I wanted to confirm how Jotform calculates upload space usage. Do form submissions themselves count toward upload space, or is upload space only affected by files uploaded through forms?

Also, if we delete old submissions, does that reduce upload space usage, or does upload space only go down if uploaded files are permanently removed?

ive deleted and purged some old form and hundreds of submissions and storage did not change

1. In Jotform Tables, select the submission you want to delete.
2. Next, click on Delete at the top right side of the Tables page.

Before deleting, make sure to download the submission first so you have a backup copy. Deleting submissions won’t free up space on your account, and they can be recovered within 30 days.
