mumangalagangothriHey, i have made the form disabled. But I have few changes and I want to preview it. How to achieve this ?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Mangalore,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Let me help you with previewing your disabled form:
When a form is disabled in Jotform, it means the form is not active for submissions, but you can still preview and edit it in the Form Builder. To preview the changes you want to make:
- Go to My Workspace and select your form.
- Click on Edit Form to open the form in Form Builder.
- Make your changes as needed in the Form Builder.
- Use the Preview button at the top right of the Form Builder to see how your form looks, even if it is disabled.
This preview allows you to see the form as it will appear to users once enabled, without enabling the form for submissions.
If you want to enable the form again to test it live, you can do so by going to Settings > Form Status and selecting Enabled, but this is not necessary just for previewing.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

mumangalagangothriit does not work

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Mangalore,
Since the usual preview method doesn't work for your disabled form, please ensure you are editing and previewing the form directly within the Form Builder. The form being disabled only prevents submissions but does not restrict previewing in the builder.
If you still cannot preview the form, try these steps:
- Open your form in Form Builder from your My Workspace.
- Make your changes as needed.
- Click the Preview button at the top right of the Form Builder to see the form's current state.
If this still does not work, consider temporarily enabling the form by going to Settings > Form Status and selecting Enabled. After previewing, you can disable it again.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

Adrian Besilla JotForm SupportHi mumangalagangothri,
I tried disabling my form and then tested it using the preview option, and I can confirm that it is not showing the form fields while the form is disabled. This means, if the form is disabled, the public version of the form will always display the This form is currently unavailable message, even during preview in some cases.
To review your changes, the best option would be to temporarily enable the form, preview or test it using the Preview tab or the form link, and then disable it again once you finish checking the updates. You can enable your form in a few simple steps. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings
- Then, in Form Settings, under the Form Status section, click on Disabled.
- Next, in the window that opens, click on Disabled and select Enable.
- Now, click on Save. That’s it. You’re done.
While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
