    Hi,

I'm trying to format the conditions for a festival form. Can you please assist me with the correct way to format all components? I find some routes are looping and not going to the next page and I noticed that on some routes the headings are not showing. I look forward to working with you.

    Hi grmlkcommission,

Thanks for using Jotform. I’d be happy to help you sort out the page flow on your festival form. Are you referring to the Dropdown field asking how the user would like to participate in this year’s Juneteenth Festival? To help format the conditions correctly, I’ll need a bit more detail about where each answer in that dropdown should lead next.

For example, let me know which option should go to the Sponsorship page, which one should go to Parade, which one should go to Vendor, and so on. Once we have the exact page flow for each answer, we’ll be able to guide you with the correct condition setup and help figure out why some headings are not appearing.

Once we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

Festival Sponsor-Bronze Level-Vendor form-Add ons- (If No thank you is selected)- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If Parade is selected)- Parade form- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If Vendor is selected)- Vendor form- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If No thank you is selected)- Payment form-Important details- submit

Also, the headings should be showing on all pages pathways. Thank you for your help!!

    Hi grmlkcommission,

Thanks for sharing your conditional flow. I just want to clarify, when a user selects the Parade option under Add-ons, should the Parade page appear? Based on your form’s structure, the Parade page is currently placed between Sponsorship and Vendor, so the form will return to that page when Parade is selected. Is that the behavior you’re expecting?

Also, I don’t see any Bronze Level or Supporting Level pages in your form. Could you share a bit more detail about these options?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with the solution.

There are 5 different levels on the form. Platinum gold silver bronze and supporting Platinum gold silver bronze and supporting.

Once the user selects one of the 5 sponsorship levels, it should then direct them to the pathways below. I need support with the Bronze and Supporting pathways below. I also understand the parade page is set in between Sponsor and vendor. I would like to offer users who are selecting lower sponsorship levels to have the option to add a parade entry or vendor table to their order.

Festival Sponsor-Bronze Level-Vendor form-Add ons- (If Parade is selected)- Parade form- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Bronze Level-Vendor form-Add ons- (If No thank you is selected)- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If Parade is selected)- Parade form- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If Vendor is selected)- Vendor form- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If No thank you is selected)- Payment form-Important details- submit

    Hi grmlkcommission,

Just to make sure that we are on the same page, when the sponsor level is Platinum, Silver, and Gold, the user will have both parade and vendor section. The option will come if the user is a Bronze and Supporting sponsor. They can choose to add a parade or host a vendor table, right? If that's the case, first we need to anchor the higher sponsorship level into a hidden Short Text field like this:

Image-1Also, you need to moce the Add-Ons page before the Parade and Vendor page like this:
Conditions: Formatting issues causing looping and missing headings in festival form
Image-2Now, let's set up the conditions:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on the Settings.

    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Conditions, and then select Update/Calculate Field. (If you already have a condition set, first click on Add Condition, then select Update/Calculate Field.)

    3. Set the condition like you see below, and click on Save.

Then you can update or modify your Hide Page condition like this:

You can test my demo form here. Take a look at the screencast below to see how it works after:

Thank you for helping set an anchor. I still need support with having the lower sponsorship levels go to the proper pathway as I stated in my initial request. I would like it to go in this order if possible.

Festival Sponsor-Bronze Level-Vendor form-Add ons- (If Parade is selected)- Parade form- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Bronze Level-Vendor form-Add ons- (If No thank you is selected)- Payment form-Important details- submit

Festival Sponsor-Supporting Level-Add ons- (If Vendor is selected)- Vendor form- Payment form-Important details- submit

    Hi grmlkcommission,

I'm confused with the vendor form, can you confirm if it refers to this page:

Conditions: Formatting issues causing looping and missing headings in festival form

Based on your flow for Bronze level, you want it to go to Vendor application page, then add-ons page. But in add-ons page, you have the option there to select Host a Vendors table option, what should happen if users select that option? I assume that's related to the Vendor application page as well.

Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.

I thank you all for your support. I ended up changing the Bronze level options. However, I still need help with the Parade header not showing when that specific page pops up. Can you please fix?

    Hi grmlkcommission,

You have these conditions set up in your form:

Conditions: Formatting issues causing looping and missing headings in festival form

So the Parade Participation header will display only if either of Silver, Gold, and platinum options are selected. You will need to create a condition to show them for Bronze and Supporting Sponsor option as well.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.
