Issue with Stripe Payment Field Showing €0

Payment amount stays at €0 – The Stripe payment field doesn’t mirror the calculated total and always shows 0 EUR. The hidden helper fields seem to be populated correctly, but the calculation isn’t being applied.

Thanks for using Jotform. I cloned your form to check, and I noticed that the calculation in your Form Calculation widget isn’t using the form fields and formatting properly. This is why the Stripe payment field is not mirroring the calculated total and always shows €0, even though the hidden helper fields are populated correctly. Check out my screenshot below to see the result:

To fix this, you’ll need to edit the Form Calculation widget and use the Add Field and Function icon options to insert the relevant form fields and math function into the calculation. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Form Calculation Widget,  and select the Wand icon to open the Widget Settings on the right side of the page.

2. On the Form Calculation Widget Settings, set the formula like you see below and click on Save.

Make sure the formatting is set correctly so that the total is passed properly to the Stripe payment field. Once the calculation is corrected, the payment amount should reflect the expected total instead of staying at €0. Check out my screencast below to see the result:
