TSACPI used Podo to create a new form and the email field it used includes a validation toggle.
I am now making a new form from scratch and cannot find the same email element with that validation option.
The ones I found are with a confirmation/second field
Or a similar email validation in the widgets, however, this one creates a very long code, not the short 4-digit one.
Where do I find the email with the validation toggle option that Podo used?

Podo: Support SpecialistHi Laura,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.
Regarding your question about the email field with a validation toggle option used by Podo, here’s what I found:
Jotform offers an Email field that can include a confirmation box to verify the email address by having users enter it twice. This is toggled on in the Email field's properties under the Options tab as the Confirmation Field. However, this is different from the validation toggle with a short 4-digit verification code you mentioned.
For the short 4-digit code email verification like the one Podo uses, this feature is available in Jotform Cards forms. In Card forms, you can enable Use verification code or Validate with Verification Code in the Email element's properties. This sends a unique code to the user's email that must be entered to verify the address before proceeding.
If you are creating a form from scratch in the Classic form builder, this exact toggle with the short 4-digit code is not available as a standard Email field option. Instead, you can use the Email Validator widget which sends a verification code but it may generate longer codes and more complex code behind the scenes.
To summarize:
- The Email field with confirmation toggle is available in the Basic elements for Classic forms.
- The short 4-digit verification code toggle is a feature of Email fields in Jotform Cards forms.
- The Email Validator widget is an alternative for Classic forms but uses a different verification method.
If you want the exact same email validation toggle with the short 4-digit code as in Podo, you would need to create a Card form and enable the verification code option in the Email field properties.
Let me know if you want guidance on creating a Card form or using the Email Validator widget.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

LaurenHi Laura,
Thanks for your question!
Just to recap: the standard Email field in Classic forms can include a confirmation box where users enter their email twice, but the short 4-digit verification code feature is only available in Card forms. If you’re using Classic forms, you can achieve similar functionality with the Email Validator widget, though the code format may be different.
Hope this helps!
