Store my data in Sydney Australia instead of USA

    I want my data to be stored in Sydney, Australia instead of the USA. This is the main issue I am facing and I need support to make this change. I have repeatedly requested to raise a support ticket for this issue and confirmed that a ticket should be created for it.

    Hi equip4life2021,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. For individual accounts, users can only opt to select Europe (Germany) to store their data. By default, it'll be on the US servers. The option to select other locations is only available on Enterprise Plans. If you are interested, you can fill out the Enterprise Sales Form.

    While that feature isn’t available in Jotform individual accounts right now, I’ve sent your request to our Developers for review. When or if it gets developed will depend on their current workload, how possible it is, and how much demand there is from other users. If/when we have any updates, we’ll follow up here and keep you posted.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for your response. If I understand correctly, we can select Australia as our data storage location if we move onto an enterprise plan, is that correct? Can you please look into our specific account and let me know the cost difference for what we are currently using. We are only a small business, delivering one simple health program, but we may be required by law to keep forms stored in Australia so would need your product to be able to offer this for us to continue using your platform.

    Hi Matt,

    You are correct. You can only select Australia as your data storage location if you upgrade to the Enterprise plan. Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide the cost difference between your Silver plan and the Enterprise plan, as this is handled by a dedicated team.

    You will need to contact our Enterprise Sales Team to know the cost difference. It is easy, you'll just need to send a request first, and they'll reach out to you with more information. Let me show you where to find the request form:

    1. Go to the Contact Sales page, and fill out the form.
    2. Then, click on the Send Request button, and that's it.

    I have done this. Reality is, if you cannot provide Australia data storage, we'll be required by the government department of health in our region to cease our account with Jotform and move to another product, as we cannot have private health informaiton stored in another country, which I have only just discovered ours is in the USA. I have completed the form as requested.
