    Hello Jotform Support Team,

I would like to share some feedback regarding the recent update of the Jotform mobile app. Several of our users have reported difficulties locating their pending approval requests within the new interface.

Previously, it was much easier for them to quickly identify where the approval requests were located. However, with the new update, it seems that accessing these approval processes is not as intuitive or easily accessible, which is causing some confusion among our team members.

Could you please let us know:

    1. If there is a simpler or more direct way for users to access their pending approval requests in the new version of the app?
    2. If there is any possibility of switching back to the previous version of the app, or adjusting the interface to make approvals easier to access?

This functionality is very important for our internal processes, as many approvals are managed daily through Jotform.

Thank you in advance for your support, and we look forward to your guidance.

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

Regarding your feedback on the recent Jotform mobile app update and the difficulty users are experiencing in locating their pending approval requests, here is some guidance:

Accessing Pending Approval Requests in the New App:

In the Jotform Mobile Forms app, you can track and manage approval workflows by following these steps:

    1. Tap the form you want to track the Approval Workflow for.
    2. Tap Submissions to view the form's Inbox, where all approvals and their data, including progress status, are displayed.
    3. Within the Inbox, you can view each submission's approval status and take actions such as Approve, Deny, Take Over, or Reassign the approval step if necessary.

This interface allows you to see the progress and manage approvals effectively, although it may differ from the previous version.

Switching Back to the Previous Version or Adjusting the Interface:

Currently, there is no option to switch back to the previous version of the app or revert the interface changes. However, the app provides filtering and sorting options in the Inbox to help you organize and locate approval requests more easily.

For more detailed management, you can also use Jotform Inbox on the web, which offers comprehensive tracking, filtering, and management of approval workflows.

If you need to manage approvals more efficiently, consider using these built-in features to filter submissions by their approval status (e.g., In Progress, Approved, Denied) and organize your Inbox with tabs.

Let us know if you need further assistance or specific guidance on using these features.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi mcontinuadp,

Are you using the 3.0.3 version? If so, let me show you how to access the pending approval requests:

    1. On your Jotform Mobile App's Workspace page, tap on the form.

    To whom it may concern,

I am writing to formally express our serious dissatisfaction with the current performance of the Jotform application. We are experiencing critical issues that are significantly hindering our approval workflow.

The following problems require your immediate attention:

    • System Latency and Accessibility: The access to forms requiring approval is extremely slow. This is unacceptable, as the primary reason we use Jotform is to ensure quick and efficient access for our team.
    • Notification Failures: The "feed" section, where notifications should appear, is not functioning. Notifications are simply not showing up.
    • Metadata Errors: Form names are not displaying correctly, making it impossible to identify requests at a glance.
    • Infection of Previous Solutions: The steps you previously provided do not work.

As a specific example (see attached images), the "Permission Request" (Solicitud de Permisos) form indicates 9 pending approvals. However, when I access the "Pending" section, it shows absolutely nothing, despite the fact that these requests exist.Jotform Mobile App: Difficulty Accessing Pending Approval Requests After Update Image 1 Screenshot 10Jotform Mobile App: Difficulty Accessing Pending Approval Requests After Update Image 2 Screenshot 21Jotform Mobile App: Difficulty Accessing Pending Approval Requests After Update Image 3 Screenshot 32Jotform Mobile App: Difficulty Accessing Pending Approval Requests After Update Image 4 Screenshot 43

We need an immediate and definitive solution. Having Jotform is supposed to streamline our processes through rapid access, but currently, it is doing the exact opposite.

What are the next steps to resolve this today? I look forward to your prompt response.

I agree that it is very NOT USER-FRIENDLY for approvers to view the forms pending for their approvals. Imagine the approver has like 20 forms and needs to click into the form 1 by 1 to check if there is any form pending for approval.

Please enhance for the better. Not worse.

    Hi mcontinuadp,

Could you clarify, when you say that form names are not showing correctly, are you referring to flows form the app? You can easily update the name, however, you must do this from the desktop version of Jotform. Let me show you how:

    1. Log into your Jotform account, and from your Workspace, ensure you don't have any filters that would hide the Workflow assets.
    2. Once you locate your Workflow, click on More from the right side of the flow.
    3. You'll find the Rename option here.

If you wish to change which information is visible when you open the list of submissions, you can update this from the app itself:

    1. In Jotform App, when you open a list of submissions, click Three Dots icon from the upper right corner.
    2. From the menu that pops up, choose Settings.

    3. From here, you can configure which fields you wish to be shown in the submission list.

As for latency, it would be great if you could let us know if there is anything specific that is slow. Is it loading data, or is it just slow in general?

As for the notifications, I've moved this question to a new thread to keep things organized. We're working on a reply, and you'll get it soon here.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
