- Deleted all submissions from all forms and emptied the submission trash,
- Deleted any forms I don’t need and emptied the form trash,
- Cleared my form cache from the Account Settings page,
- Waited and refreshed the Usage page.
My account is on the Free plan, but I believe the upload usage is not recalculating correctly.
Could you please manually recalculate my upload storage on the backend and let me know why my account is still over the upload limit?” If you want, you can also add the names/links of the forms that previously had the most uploads under that message.

Your account on the Free plan has reached the upload storage limit, and the usage has just been recalculated to ensure accuracy. To resolve this, you can either upgrade your plan to increase your upload storage or free up space by deleting and purging submissions with uploaded files.
Here’s how to purge submissions to free up space:
- Open your Jotform Submission Table and select the submissions with uploaded files you want to delete.
- Click Delete in the upper-right corner and confirm by clicking Move to Trash.
- Go to the Trashed Entries by clicking the Three Dots icon in the Submission Table, then select Trashed Entries.
- Select the trashed submissions and click Delete Forever, then confirm the deletion.
Remember to download any submission files you want to keep before deleting them. If the upload storage still shows as full after purging, try clearing your form cache from the Account Settings page.
If you want to increase your upload storage limits, you can upgrade your account. Upgrading gives you increased storage and usage limits, removes branding, and unlocks additional features depending on the plan. You can upgrade anytime from the Jotform Features and Pricing page by selecting a plan and completing the payment process. Your limits will increase immediately after upgrading.
