Form Templates: Error When Sharing and Using Public Template Link

    Hello,


    My friend and I are trying to share and use a template that we have created but every time we click the link we get an error message.

    We have made the template public and tried to share it multiple times.


    Any help would be appreciated!

    Regarding the issue with the shared template link showing a 404 error, this typically means the template is either not yet approved, still private, or the link is incorrect or broken.

    Here’s how to ensure your template is properly shared and accessible:

    1. Check the template status: After sharing your form as a template, it goes through a review process. Until approved, it remains private and inaccessible via the public link.
    2. Confirm the template is public: In your Workspace, go to the form, click More > Share as Template, and verify it is set to public and shared.
    3. Use the correct link: Make sure you are sharing the link from the Templates Gallery under the My Templates tab, not a private or draft link.

    If the template is still private or under review, the public link will not work and will show a 404 error.

    Give these steps a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Cooper,

    I tested your form and had the same issue, so I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

    When I've checked the template with our relevant team, we've noticed that the same template has been created three times. You can check out the relevant templates below:

    You should be able to access the public template once you are logged into your account. Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we’ll do some more testing to see what’s going on.

    Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.
