Form Calculation Widget: Perform calculation after form submission instead of real-time

Can the form calculation widget provide a calculation AFTER the Submit button is pressed (vs. real-time)?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Form Calculation widget works in real-time, so it updates as soon as the fields it uses are filled. But, if you want to keep the result hidden until the form is submitted, you can simply hide the widget on the form and then show the result on the Thank You Page. Let me show you how to do that:

1. In Form Builder, select the Form Calculation widget and click on the Gear icon to open Settings.
2. Under the Advanced tab, toggle Hide Field to On.

2. Select Thank You Page in the menu on the left side of the page.
3. In the editor, click on the Add Field button and select your Form Calculation widget.
