    Hi Penelope,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I see that you would like to speak to a representative and have already requested to create a ticket with your details provided. We handle support requests here instead of by phone. I’ll make sure you get the answers you need. Can you tell me what’s happening?

    Hello Mark,

I made a form with a workflow for a friend and we encounter many small issues that would take a real conversation to solve.

Would it be possible to have a call during which I can revue with you all our glitches?

    Thank you.

    Penelope

    Hi Penelope,

Jotform doesn’t currently provide live phone support or troubleshooting calls. Our team is available through this support channel, where we can guide you step-by-step to resolve any issues you’re experiencing. You can share the specific problems or errors you’re encountering, and we'll walk you through the appropriate solutions.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Ok thank you for the clarification.
    Let's start by this one.

We created a work flow involving an approuval step. We would need to change the email address of the person who's supposed to make the approuval. How do we do?

    Thank you.

    Hi Penelope,

If you're referring to adding or changing the approver's email address, you can easily update approvers in the Approval element. Let me show you how:

    1. In Workflow Builder, click on the Approval Element field, then click on the Gear icon to open Approval Settings.
    2. Under the General tab, add the email address in the Approvers box.

You can also share with us the form URL so we can further check. You might also want to check out this guide, How to Set Up Approval in Jotform Workflows for more information.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

We already had updated the Approval person email address but yet, when we get into an entry, directly from the Table, for activating the workflow, it still wait for the old address Approval.

    Thank you.

    Hi Penelope,

This issue may occur if your workflow is still connected to a previous approval setup or if the approval step requires further configuration beyond simply updating the email address in the Approval element.

To help resolve this, please follow these steps:

    1. Verify the Approval Element settings:
    • In Workflow Builder, click on the Approval Element and then the Gear icon to open its settings.
    • Check that the new approver’s email address is correctly entered in the Approvers field.

    2. Check for multiple approval steps:

    • Some workflows contain more than one Approval element.
    • Make sure that every approval step has been updated with the correct email address.

    3. Review the linked entry in your Table:

    • If you’re triggering the approval process directly from the Jotform Tables view, confirm that the entry is linked to the latest version of your workflow.
    • Occasionally, cached or older workflow configurations can prevent recent changes from taking effect immediately.

If the issue continues, please share your form URL so we can take a closer look and help identify what might be causing the workflow to reference the outdated settings.

Once we hear back from you, we can get moving on a solution.
