Hello,
I have tried to create a form where our clients can fill out their credit card information for us to use there credit cards . I am not sure if this is possible and PCI compliant?
We use Stripe as a processor but no charges would be going through just the authorization to use the credit card.
Please Help!
Thanks

Hi Northstar_Docs,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me help you with that:
Jotform does not allow forms to collect credit card information directly due to PCI compliance and security reasons. This restriction is stated in Jotform's Terms of Use. If you add fields to collect credit card details directly on your form, your account may be suspended.
Since you are using Stripe as your payment processor, the recommended approach is to integrate your form with Stripe's payment gateway. This way, your clients can securely provide their payment information through Stripe's system, which handles PCI compliance, without the credit card data passing through your form.
However, if you want to collect only authorization without actual charges, this may not be supported directly through Jotform forms because the form itself cannot store or process credit card information for authorization purposes without a payment transaction.
For more information on how to set up payment forms securely, you can visit our payment forms guides.
Let us know if you need further assistance with integrating Stripe or setting up payment forms.
Reach out again if you need any other help.
