    Hi!

I have a form for my team to use that they will use for the duration of an appointment that could take up to 3 hours. I was wondering if there is a way for their form information to be saved as they work or if they can hit save and continue so they can save their data and continue to work on their form now vs having to save and continue later. Thanks so much!

Hi Lori, thanks for reaching out to us! Keep in mind that the form editor has an auto-save feature. You do not have to manually save, and there is no such feature to save forms manually. When you start building your form, any changes you make will be saved automatically. You can find more details in the guide below.

    Hi Lori,

You can do this by using the Save and Continue Later feature. While the primary function is to continue later, it can also be used as a simple save button during the appointment. They can continue filling out the form right away to keep working on the form. Let me show you how to enable it:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the Form Settings tab, scroll down and click on Show More Options.
    3. Go to the Save and Continue Later section, click the dropdown, and select Enabled.

thank you! I was wondering if there was a way to save while you were
    working.
also, I have noticed that when i do voice to text and then hit
save, any box where I have done that, the data is not saving.
    Also, when
the app times out do we automatically lose our work or is there a draft
    saved?
    Best,

    Hi Lori,

The Save and Continue Later option only saves the form when you manually click the Save button, it doesn't automatically save progress while you're still working. So if the form times out and wasn't saved manually, any unsaved data will be lost. Also, remember that the Allow Browser Autocomplete feature in your form is enabled by default. You can check it in the form settings. Here's how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the Form Settings tab, click on Show More Options.
    3. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the Allow Browser Autocomplete option.

Autosaving a form or saving and continuting to work now not later Image 1 Screenshot 20 This allows the browser to remember past data and suggest it when you click into a field to fill out. However, this will only work if your browser's autocomplete setting is also turned on. You can also check this guide for more details on how to enable autofill on your browser.

I’ve gone ahead and moved your other question to a separate thread to keep things tidy, and someone from our Support Team will help you out with it here.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
