Hi,
Hello Jotform Support Team,
I’m reaching out for assistance with one of our forms — our Volunteer Member Agreement Form. We would like to set up an autoresponder email that is triggered 22 months after the original form submission date.
Our goal is to have this delayed email automatically sent to our team (or to the volunteer, if possible) as a reminder to send out a new link for the updated Member Agreement form.
I’ve explored the autoresponder and reminder email options, but it doesn’t appear that there’s a native way to delay a message by a specific number of months after submission. Could you please advise if there’s a way to achieve this through conditions, integrations, or a workaround (such as using Jotform Tables, automation tools, or calculated date fields)?
Any guidance or setup instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi 716paws,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Regarding your request to set up an autoresponder email that triggers 22 months after the original form submission date, you can try to set up sending an Autoresponder Email at a later date. You can choose the number of days or specific date based on your requirement. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
- Next, hover your mouse over the Autoresponder Email, and click on the Pencil icon.
4. Then, go to the Advanced tab.
5. In the Send Email Later section, choose the date you want the user to receive the Autoresponder Email after the form submissions.
6. Finally, click on Save.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Hi 716paws,
You can first set up a new email field that will always contain the email address of the delayed email before following the steps in Adrian's reply. This way, the Autoresponder Email will only be sent to the email that you added in the field. It is very easy to add a default value to an email field. Let me show you how:
1. While in Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
2. In the Form Elements menu, under the Basic tab, scroll down the list and choose the Email field
3. Select the Email field and click the Gear icon.
4. Under the Advanced tab, add a Default value for the Email field.
You can then use the newly added email field as the Recipient in your delayed Autoresponder email. See the screenshot below:
