I don't remember receiving an Access Code

Hi Michelle,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The access code is something you created yourself when you first enabled form encryption on your form. It acts as your private key and is required to decrypt encrypted submissions.
Try to recall whether you saved the access code in your browser, a password manager, or a file on your computer. Without the correct access code, encrypted submission data cannot be viewed, downloaded, or decrypted even by Jotform Support because it’s designed to protect your respondents’ privacy.
If you can’t locate the code, you can disable encryption on your form moving forward, but this will only allow you to view new submissions. Previously encrypted submissions will remain unreadable without the original access code. It's really easy to do. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- Under Form Settings, toggle Off the Form Encryption.
- Choose Yes, Disable in the pop-up to confirm the changes.
