Quizzes that are Automatically Grade with a Certificate

Hi - I currently use an online service called FlexiQuiz for quizzes and it has been really useful. I'm trying to see if I can do something equivalent with Jotform and it's not appearing to be easy. Here's how this works in FlexiQuiz:

    1. I create the quiz on the back end (multiple-choice), providing all of the options, indicating which answer is correct and assigning a point value to each question. I also create a customized certificate that automatically puts in the employee's name, the name of the quiz and other information (e.g., company logo, date the quiz was passed, etc.). I tell the system what a "passing" grade is, a percentage of correct answers based on the points I have assigned to each question.
    2. The system provides me with a link to the quiz, which I then provide to employees.
    3. Those employees can easily "register" for the quiz by putting in their name and email address (no account required).
    4. Employee takes the quiz.
    5. The system automatically grades their quiz. If they fail, in the system I provide a page that tells the employee they have to take the quiz again. If they pass, a certificate is automatically produced. The employee can download it if I select that option, and the quiz is automatically emailed to me and anyone else I designate.
    6. Certificates can also be easily downloaded from the website and I can see the scores of employees and sort by last name, email, date submitted or score.
    7. If I update the quiz, the percentage grading system easily holds and the link doesn't change.

This is an incredibly useful service. I love Jotform so much that I'm wondering if I could do something like this in Jotform. All of these features are pretty important and so I wouldn't give up any of them easily! I see there's a way to use some kind of add-in for quizzes, and a Form Calculation Widget, but that's not incredibly user-friendly to me at first glance. It would be awesome if someday Jotform included "Quiz" as a type of form that included all of these items natively.

Can someone tell me if what I want to do in Jotform is possible and if so, how? Thanks very much for your help,

    Graham Clark

    Hi Graham,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can create quizzes with Jotform that include many of the features you described from FlexiQuiz. Jotform offers an AI Quiz Generator and Quiz Templates to create multiple-choice quizzes where you can assign correct answers and point values.

You can set passing criteria, automatically grade quizzes, and send Notification Emails to designated recipients. Employees can register by entering their name and email without needing an account. You can also Customize Certificates that include names, quiz details, logos, and dates, which can be automatically generated and emailed upon passing.

Additionally, Jotform Tables allows you to sort and group quiz submissions by various fields like name, email, date, or score. You can provide a retake option by customizing the form's Conditional Logic to show a retry message or redirect to the quiz again if the user fails.

The quiz link remains stable even if you update the quiz content. To get started, you can use the Free Online Quiz Maker at Jotform's website or generate a quiz with AI.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
