I created an e-sign form and I need to allow the recipients to upload requested documents. How do I add this function to the e-sign form I created? I read the guide but it does not address the function on an e-sign form.

    Hi Jullisa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. In Jotform, e-sign forms primarily focus on collecting signatures. Currently, there is no Upload field element when creating an e-sign form.

What you can do instead is have your form in the Form Builder. You can add a File Upload field to your form to let users upload the requested documents and at the same time, enable Jotform Sign to collect signatures. If this works for you, let me show you how to add the File Upload element first:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on Add Element on the upper-left side of the screen.
    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down to the Field Upload element and click on it to add it to your form.

    1. Click on the File Upload field, and then click on the Gear icon to open File Upload Properties.
    2. In the menu on the right side of the page click on the Options tab.
    3. In the File Types section, remove unwanted file types and add the ones you want respondents to upload.

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Jotform Sign.
    3. Then, toggle On the Enable Jotform Sign Automation option.

I tried creating the form as the instructions said. I uploaded by form (multiple pages and it did not format correctly. Multiple pages must be completed and after I uploaded my form, only one page was to be completed. I don't know what happened to my other pages that need to be completed.

    Hi Jullisa,

Can you send us the link to the form you're referring to for us to investigate it on our end? If you can share with us a screen recording of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.

I’ve gone ahead and moved your other question to a separate thread to keep things tidy, and someone from our Support Team will help you out with it here.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.
