I have a survey I need to make in three parts:
- Part A: Introduction (common to all), with 9 questions
- Part B: Audience-specific questions, between 2 and 8 questions
- Part C: Wrap up. with 2 questions
Based on the answer to Part A Question 9, the respondent will be directed to one of eight sets of questions in the middle of the experience for Part B.
Then, all respondents will be served the same two questions in Part C to end the survey.
I started by building a form with conditions, but then it became cumbersome to manage the branches. So, I then separated the form into parts, using separate forms, like this:
- Part A (form 1)
- Part B, Audience 1 (form 2)
- Part B, Audience 2 (form 3)
- Part B, Audience 3 (form 4)
- Part B, Audience 4 (form 5)
- etc.
- Part C (form 10)
However, I would like all of the results stored in a single table. I'm I overcomplicating this by using the Workflow approach? If so, is there an easier (visual) way to break apart a single form in this way while still using the Paged Form approach (one question at a time) or would I have to use the Paged approach?
I'm new to your tool, so I just need some guidance about the best way forward.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Based on the information you provided, Workflow is not necessary. Since the form has multiple parts, do you want to redirect the form user to the next form after they submitted the previous form?
If your form is not much lengthy, you can make it as single form, then make use of the Show/Hide Field conditional logic. But, if you prefer to divide the survey into multiple forms, it's possible to Get Data From Other Forms in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:
- In Jotform Tables, click on + New Tab.
- In the dialog, click on Tables (or choose your desired tab style), the click on Next.
- Next, select Connect to Form, click on Next.
- Choose a form table to connect, then click on Next.
- Next, choose the columns to include in the tab, then click on Create.
Reach out again if you need any other help.
- In Jotform Tables, click on + New Tab.
