Hi,
I am using the form underneath and have some last tweaks I would like to make.
- The language has to be dutch (primarely) and english. I can also make 2 forms
- The default tekst in the auto complete field is english. Can I change this to dutch? And how?
- Error message of the auto complete are in English. I would like to have in Dutch or English, depending on the language set
- I did not manage to align the field and the widgets
I did some research and I probably need to use custom code instead of widget. I have tried to add the code widget but I can't add code to that.
Hope you can help. I am moving away from 123 forms to Jotform and am very happy so far.
Kind regards,
Raymond -

Hi Diensten,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Regarding your questions about the autocomplete address field:
- The default text and error messages in the autocomplete field are in English by default. To have them in Dutch or English depending on the language set, you need to use Jotform's multilingual feature. You can add Dutch as a language in your form settings and provide translations for the field labels and warnings.
- For aligning the address field and widgets, use the field's Shrink option in the Advanced tab of the Address field properties. This helps align multiple elements in one row.
- The Autocomplete Address widget does not support adding custom code directly. Instead, use the built-in Address element with autocomplete enabled, which allows more control and customization.
Let me know if you need detailed steps on setting up multilingual forms or aligning fields.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Best regards,

Hi Raymond,
What you can do is add another language to your form to make it multilingual. This way, the default text, including the errors, will show depending on the language chosen. In my sample form, the default language is English. Let me walk you through it:
1. In Form Builder, go to Settings.
2. Click on Show More Options, then under Form languages, click the Edit button.
3. Click Add Language, then, select your language.
4. Click the Add button, and the translations will be generated automatically.
As for aligning the fields and widgets, I moved this question to a new thread and our team will help you with that here.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
