Hi Jill,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
To show the entire time duration (e.g., 8/1 9:00am-2:00pm) in your Google Calendar integration, ensure your form captures both start and end times correctly and that these fields are mapped properly in the integration settings.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

how do I map both start times and end time correctly

Hi Jill,
To map both start and end times correctly in the Google Calendar integration, go to your form's integration settings, then assign the form fields that capture the start time and end time to the corresponding calendar event fields.
Make sure you select the correct fields for each time slot to display the full duration.

Hello Christensen_Jill,
I can see our AI assistant shared details with Google Calendar integration to show the time on the selected date.
Instead of integrating Google Calendar in the Appointment form field, we're going to do this through the Integrate option. I cloned your form and shared a demo below to do this.
- In the Form Builder, go to the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar on top.
- Select Integrations from the left panel.
- Look for the Google Calendar.
- Select Create Event.
- Authenticate the Google account.
- Complete the configuration.
- Make sure the Match Fields select the Appointment field.
- Hit the Save button.
In addition, make sure that the Appointment form field and the Google Calendar have the same time zone to avoid differences in the dates.
Give it a try and let us know if you’ve got other questions.

Hi Christensen_Jill,
I've shared a screencast below showing how the Google Calendar integration works:
As you noticed, the Appointment form field's time zone and the Google Calendar's are sync. After submitting a form submission with a 10:00 a.m. schedule, it reflected in the Google Calendar. The helpful guide about Google Calendar is on this link.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you’ve got any other questions.

Hi Jill,
I checked your Action Logs and see that the previous submissions were not being sent because the Event Start Date Time is empty:
But, it seems that the issue has been resolved, and the integration is now working. Can you check and confirm?
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Christensen_JillReplied on July 31, 2025 at 8:00 PMI am not sure where you see that. I am not having luck with having the
duration show up.
Do I have to use the appointment calendar?
OR can I use a date picker>
I would like to have the example: date 8/2/2025 time: 9:00am-4:00pm
I would like to fill that out on the form and then it show up as 8/2/2025
9:00am-4:00pm on google calendar

Hi Jill,
I understand that you want to show the time duration in the Google Calendar. To do this, you need to update the integration settings and use the Date Field as the Start Time:
Here is the result:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I want the duration of the event, not 60 minute option.
I want example: 9am-4pm
-
Christensen_JillReplied on July 31, 2025 at 8:55 PMI don't have that as an option. See below.
What do I do? Someone else said to do something different?
