    Hi,

we work a lot with Jot forms and use a lot of picture input. The resolution on the created PDFs is not too good. Any way we can increase that?

    Hi Markus,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding the resolution of created PDFs with picture inputs, currently, Jotform PDF Editor allows resizing and moving elements to fit your needs, but there is no direct setting to increase the resolution of images in the PDFs. You can try resizing the image elements in the PDF Editor by dragging the corners to make them larger, which might improve the visual quality somewhat.

If you need higher resolution images in your PDFs, consider uploading higher quality images in your form inputs initially, as the PDF output quality depends on the original image quality.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Arslan,
My request is very simple: I would like to have the images in the PDF automatically saved at a higher resolution. The upload works fine, I just want to increase the megabytes so the pictures are of higher quality.

    Hi Markus,

Currently, Jotform's PDF Editor allows you to resize and move image elements within the PDF to better fit your layout. But there is no direct setting to automatically save images at a higher resolution or increase the image quality beyond the original upload quality. The PDF output quality largely depends on the resolution of the images uploaded through the form. You can ask the user to try uploading an image with a higher resolution.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
