    Good day,

Why do I not have a option on my download menu: Download Attachments?
    I only have three options:
    Download xls
    Download csv
    Download pdf

The above is the suggested solutions to my problem:
I have a FORM that use Take Photo wizard to get x4 separate photos to upload to jotforms.
I then want to download the xls with the photos in the cell, not the url LINK.
I need the photos to draft a report.

My submission may have x300 line items (multiply with the x4 photos = 1200 photos)
Can I download all photos per submission table instead?

Or a xls file with the pictures imbedded?

    Hi Ruan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Regarding your issue with downloading photos uploaded via the Take Photo wizard, currently, Jotform does not embed photos directly into the Excel (XLS) file cells; instead, it provides URL links to the images. The download options you see (XLS, CSV, PDF) are standard for submission data, but the photos themselves are accessible as file attachments through Jotform Tables.

Here’s how you can download all uploaded photos separately:

    1. Go to My Forms and select your form.
    2. Click on the Submissions button to open Jotform Tables.
    3. Click the Download All button on the right side.
    4. Choose Download Attachments to get all uploaded files (photos) zipped and sent to your email.

This way, you can download all photos per submission in bulk, which might be more practical given your large number of photos.

Unfortunately, embedding photos directly into Excel cells is not supported by Jotform at this time.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Ruan,

The "Download Attachments" option appears in Jotform Tables only when you click the Download All button on the right side of the submissions page, not in the initial download menu where you see XLS, CSV, and PDF options.

To access it, follow these steps:

    1. Go to My Forms and select your form.
    2. Click on Submissions to open Jotform Tables.
    3. Click the Download All button on the right side above the submissions table.
    4. Choose Download Attachments to get all uploaded photos and files zipped and sent to your email.

This option is separate from the standard download menu and is specifically for downloading uploaded files.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Ruan,

If the "Download Attachments" option does not appear after clicking "Download All" in Jotform Tables, it might be due to the form not having file uploads recognized as attachments or a temporary issue with the interface.

Please ensure your form's photo fields are set as file upload elements. If they are, try refreshing the page or using a different browser.

Alternatively, you can download individual photos by clicking the photo thumbnail in each submission and using the green download button.

If the problem persists, it may require further investigation on our end.

    Best regards,
    Jotform Support

    Hi Ruan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you’re having an issue with the download function. Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies often helps fix this, so can you give that a try and see if it works?

If the issue continues, can you share the Form ID with us? This will help us take a closer look and figure out what’s going on.

Once we hear back from you, we’ll be able to move forward with a solution.
