AI Agent: Auto-Sync or Re-Crawl of Connected Knowledge Base

I’m reaching out to express a serious limitation we’ve encountered while trying to implement your AI Agent functionality within our workflow and to formally request an urgent improvement that would make this tool truly viable for real-world business use.

Currently, the AI Agent's inability to automatically update its knowledge base from connected data sources (such as Google Drive) significantly reduces its practical utility. As it stands, any change or addition to the folder requires manual retraining of the agent in order for it to reflect updated information. This not only creates a bottleneck in dynamic environments like ours, but also makes it nearly impossible to ensure that the AI is referencing current, accurate data at all times.

What we need and what I believe many organizations would benefit from is the ability for AI Agents to stay continuously synced with their designated data sources. Whether it’s through real-time streaming, scheduled refresh intervals, or webhook/API-triggered updates, this functionality is essential for deploying the AI Agent in any serious, scalable setting.

This feature gap, unfortunately, is a dealbreaker for us and likely for others who aim to use Jotform AI for customer service, knowledge support, or operational efficiency. If this is something your team is already exploring, I’d appreciate any insights into the roadmap or timeline. If not, I urge you to prioritize it and consider the significant value it would unlock for your platform.

Thanks for reaching out with this feature request. Rest assured that our Developers continue to work on improvements, and on additional features to become available and feasible with our AI Agents. Currently, our AI Agent has Periodic Recrawling, but is only available for website data as the agent's knowledge base. I created a ticket about it and escalated this to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
