Hello, I am looking to create a form where we collect SSN last 4. Is there any specific feature I need to activate to protect this field, or is all collected data secured the same way?
Also, is there any specific language or terminology I should include that ensures our users that this information will be secured?
Thank you!

Hi Dan,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Jotform uses 256 Bit SSL, which is an industry standard protection. For more information about security, you can check it out on this page. If you would like to add additional security, you can turn on Encrypt Form Data on your form. Here's how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. Turn on, Encrypt Form Data.
3. Select your preferred verification option.
4. Click on Verify.
5. Enter your preferred Access Code.
6. Tick the checkbox for I understand that if I forget my access code, I won't be able to view my form submissions.
7. Click on Enable Encryption.
We also have a guide about How to Enable Form Encryption that you can check out. Also, the encrypted form icon is displayed at the bottom right side of the form as shown in the screenshot.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
