Hi Team,
We need an option on the Voucher Requisition Form.
When a user is filling out the form, they should be able to select the person they want approval from. Upon submitting the form, an approval email should be sent to the selected person.
Is this possible?

Hi jotform911_jotform_Jotform,
You can use the Conditional Branch element in the Approval Workflow to send different approval emails based on the user's answer. Here’s a quick idea of how it works using a 3-email condition workflow:
The workflow will send the Approval email based on the user's answer to the online form. Here's the simple demo form I created:
1. In Form Builder, add a Single Choice Element. This will be the question that lets the user choose who should receive the approval.
2. Click the Gear Icon on the Single Choice field. This opens up the settings for that question.
3. Go to the Options tab, then turn on Calculation Values. This feature lets you assign hidden values to each option (in this case, email addresses).
4. Add a Short Text field (or Email field) and pass the chosen email into it using the Update/Calculate Field condition. This field will be the dynamic email receiver in your Approval element.
Here's the Insert Text or Calculation Into a Field condition setup to pass the Calculation Values to the Email field:
And here's the Conditional Branch Element setup of my simple demo form in the Approval Workflow Builder:
- The Single Choice field Label.
- The option in the Single Choice field.
You can check my screencast sample of the demo form:
Give it a try and let us know if you need help.
