Hi I am looking at developing a form which our clients can fill out. The form would need to include

    1. ability for the client to upload documents
    2. ability to notify me when the client has completed the form
    3. ability to store each individual repose separately - This is not a survey but a type of audit
    4. provide an immediate report to the client with their answers when submitted
    5. ability to provide pre determined actions in the report if a question is answered no

As we are based in Australia, our data governance requirements require information on the storage of data, is this available

I hop you can help me with this

    Thanks

    David

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

Let me help you with that:

    • You can create a form with file upload fields to allow clients to upload documents.
    • Set up email notifications to alert you when a client completes the form.
    • Each submission is stored separately and securely in Jotform Tables.
    • Use Jotform's Report Builder to provide immediate reports to clients based on their answers.
    • Apply conditional logic to show predetermined actions in the report if a question is answered 'No'.
    • Jotform complies with data security standards and offers options for data storage, including secure servers that meet regional requirements like those in Australia.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Let me walk you through how you can set up the features you need:

    1. Allow clients to upload documents: You can add file upload fields to your form, so clients can easily submit their documents. You can refer to our guide on How to Create File Upload Forms.
    2. Notification on form completion: Set up Notification Emails in your form settings to alert you whenever a client submits their response.
    3. Store individual responses separately: Each submission is securely stored separately in Jotform Tables, perfect for audit-type data rather than surveys. Check out our guide in How to View Form Submissions.
    4. Provide immediate reports to clients: You can use Jotform's Report Builder to generate instant reports based on the clients’ answers upon submission.
    5. Conditional predetermined actions: You can implement conditional logic to display specific actions or messages in the report if a question is answered "No." This helps tailor the feedback dynamically.
    6. Data storage and governance: Our standard plans (Free, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) run on shared servers. At the moment, only users with an Enterprise account can choose a country-specific server location. Users with a standard plan are either in the EU or the US. You can check out this page to learn more about the difference between standard plans and Enterprise.

If you need detailed guidance on setting up any of these features, feel free to ask.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
