The Stripe credit card form appears to have a usability issue. The zip code field does not display initially and only appears after clicking "Preview," showing a default value of “12345” rather than a label like “Zip Code.” This is confusing for customers, as it's not clear what the field is for. Could this be corrected so the field is visible and clearly labeled from the start?

Hi DonMMN,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it's not possible to directly change the placeholder text for the Stripe zip code field within a Jotform form. This is because the credit card details section, including the zip code field, is securely handled by Stripe through an iframe, and Jotform doesn't have the ability to modify its layout or labels. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform.
I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
In the meantime, let us know if you have any more questions.
