Ability to set a default value for Sub Products when special pricing is enabled?

    Hello,

The issue here is that the Users receives an Error when selecting a Product that has Special Pricing Enabled with Sub Products On because no default value for Quantity is set (or can be set as far as I can tell).

In the screen capture, the user (me) selected Raffle Tickets and immediately receives a Jotform error because all of the Quantity values are blank. As soon as a Quantity is selected, the Errors Fixed message is displayed.

Is there a way to avoid this?

    Hi Kcat15,

Setting a default value for Sub Products when special pricing is enabled is currently unavailable and not applicable to your request. Keep in mind that if you enable special pricing per option, your users must select at least one of the listed options for the submission to go through successfully. Leaving the quantity blank will trigger an error, as you've experienced. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

Hi Mary, Thanks for your reply.

Maybe I should have phrased my question another way - to thus avoid the user from always getting an error message - so I'll try again:

Is there a way to display all of the Sub Products when the form is initially displayed. Currently, what happens is that the Sub Products are collapsed (invisible) until the Product is selected. And then the error message is displayed.

Which is really quite a bad user experience. (& then as you depict - a Quantity is selected and the Error goes away)

If the Sub Products were able to be displayed when the form was initially displayed, the user could select Quantity and avoid the Error or another suggestion would be to allow Sub Products to have an initial value of 0.

    Thanks for any help,

    Dave
