Hello,
I created a registration form for a Backpack Distribution. I published it. I tried to email myself (using another email address) to see what it would look like and to be able to guide the parents when they fill out the form, but I don't receive any email or form.
I keep getting a message that says my email needs to be verified.

Hi Wilfredo,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
It looks like the issue you're facing is due to the email verification requirement. When you enable email verification on your form, the email address used to receive notifications must be verified first.
Here’s how to resolve this:
- Verify your email address: Check your email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for a verification email from Jotform and follow the instructions to verify your email.
- Check your email notification settings: In your form builder, go to the Settings tab, then Emails. Make sure the recipient email address is correct and verified.
- Check your bounce list: Go to your Jotform Account Settings and ensure your email is not on the bounce list, which would prevent notifications from being sent.
Once your email is verified and settings are correct, you should start receiving the form submissions via email.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Wilfredo,
If you have sent the form to your other email address using the Invite by Email button, they will be required to register a Jotform account before they can check the form and submit it. Check out the image below:
I recommend copying the form URL instead and send it to them via email. You can easily find your form's URL in Form Builder. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- In the Quick Share tab, click on Copy Link in the Share With Link section.
Now, if you haven't received the email address, you can check your email logs if it was successfully sent or not. You can easily View Your Form Email Logs in your account settings. Let me show you how:
- Go to the History tab on your Account Settings page.
- Click on All Actions in the top-right corner of the History page, and in the dropdown menu that opens, scroll down to the bottom and select Emails.
- Click on the External Link icon on the right side of the Form ID to open the email of the related submission.
