How to update the SMTP sender email address?

    Hi C,

    Were you planning to remove and stop using SMTP entirely, or are you replacing it with a new SMTP email? When you remove your custom SMTP sender from your account settings, any forms that used that sender will automatically switch back to Jotform’s default sender address (such as noreply@jotform.com). This helps avoid delivery failures in case the removed email is no longer valid or accessible. To remove the existing SMTP sender email from your account, let me help you do it: 

    1. On your My Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image on the top-right side of the page, and then click on Settings.
    2. Under the Settings tab, scroll down to the Sender Emails section.
    3. Hover over the SMTP sender email you want to remove and click the trash icon. Confirm the removal when prompted.

    We also have a guide to help you learn how to edit or delete Sender Emails on SMTP Settings. Now, to check or update the sender's email on your forms, here’s how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings. Click on Emails in the menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Hover over your Notification Email and click the pencil icon to edit. Open the Advanced tab.
    3. In the Sender Email dropdown, select Jotform or another verified sender. Click Save to apply changes.
