We have encountered an issue in the LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) calculation. When the location is set to Haryana and the Gross Salary is below ₹17,000, the system is expected to calculate:
- Employer LWF as 40% of Gross Salary
- Employee LWF as 20% of Gross Salary
However, in one of the cases, the Gross Salary is ₹15,841, but the LWF Employer amount is showing as ₹6,336, which is incorrect.
Kindly review this discrepancy and advise on the necessary correction.

Hi Rahul,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help. I checked your form, and the issue could be related to the Update/Calculate Field conditions you set. But, since there are 220 conditions, and you need to take specific steps to get the outcome, can you explain a bit more about the issue you're having so that I can have a better idea of what's going on and help you with a solution? Is this happening with multiple selections or only the one you mentioned?
Also, In the screenshot you shared, the Gross Salary is 17,141, but, according to the conditions, those conditions should only be met when it's below 17,000. It will be helpful if you can provide us with the steps we need to take to get the same result so that we can try and replicate the issue on our side.
As soon as we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

Dear Ruan,
Kindly review the condition given below and check, as the result still appears to be incorrect."
As per the condition, the LWF Employer contribution should be ₹64 and the Employee contribution should be ₹32. However, the values showing are higher, even though the Gross Salary is ₹15,900."

Hi Rahul,
When I cloned and tested the form, and follow the requirements needed to trigger the condition, by selecting Haryana in the State field, and select an option from the Category field, the gross salary ends up being negative because there is a field called Other Allowance that provides a big negative amount. Take a look at the screenshot below:
The reason for that is probably because there are extra steps we need to take before getting the results that you get. So, if you can share with us more detailed steps of the flow. Can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end?
You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Also, we don't have access to the draft link you shared, we'll just need access to your account to gain access. Don't worry, you can disable that again after we're done checking things out. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.
2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.
3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.
4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.
