We have encountered an issue in the LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) calculation. When the location is set to Haryana and the Gross Salary is below ₹17,000, the system is expected to calculate:
- Employer LWF as 40% of Gross Salary
- Employee LWF as 20% of Gross Salary
However, in one of the cases, the Gross Salary is ₹15,841, but the LWF Employer amount is showing as ₹6,336, which is incorrect.
Kindly review this discrepancy and advise on the necessary correction.

Hi rahul,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I reviewed the conditions linked to the Gross Salary and LWF Employer fields and discovered that one of the conditions was incorrectly set to “Less Than” instead of “Greater Than.” As a result, when users enter their salary, the system incorrectly calculates the LWF Employer contribution as 20%, regardless of the actual salary input. Take a look at the screenshot below:
I would suggest updating the condition in 0.4 to Greater than. Take a look at the screenshot below:
Take a look at the screencast of the result below:

Dear Joeni,
As per compliance, if the Gross Salary is below ₹17,000, then the employer contribution should be calculated as 40% of the Gross Salary for the lwf Employer and 20% for the lwf Employee. However, if the Gross Salary exceeds ₹17,000, the LWF contribution should be a fixed amount of ₹68 for the lwf Employer and ₹34 for the lwf Employee only for Haryana location.

Hi Rahul,
I've cloned and checked your form, and the calculation in the Condition seems to be working correctly. As 15,841 multiplied by 0.4 is equal to 6,336. I've also used 10,000 for testing and the LWF Employer result showed 4,000 correctly. See the screencast below:
If this isn't the issue, can you tell us a bit more so we can help you better?
Let us know if you have any other questions.
