Is there a way to take over and complete a task assigned from the App?

When a client or someone does a task, but doesn't click that they did, the workflow stops, and we can't move forward. For the approval process, you can take it over. Can you add that to the task feature?

The Task element in Jotform Apps doesn't offer the same Take Over functionality that the Approval element does. This means that if a user assigned to a task doesn’t mark it as complete, the workflow can get stuck, preventing further progress, just as you described. Currently, there's no built-in way to manually take over or complete a pending task from within the App or Approval workflow interface.

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
