Hello,
I’m encountering another issue with my form: https://www.jotform.com/build/251877201279159.
The multiple choice question “How is title currently vested?” is configured correctly—under the Advanced tab, I’ve set it to “One item is selected” by default. You can see this in the attached screenshot below.
However, when the form is published, users are seeing two checkboxes pre-selected, which is not the intended behavior. Please refer to the screenshot below showing what users are seeing on the live form.
Can you help resolve this?

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
This type of behavior may occasionally happen due to a configuration issue or outdated cached data in your form. To help resolve it, follow the steps below:
- Clear your browser cache and reload the form. This ensures you're viewing the most recent version of the form.
- Remove the default selection by unchecking all the options, then reselect only the one intended default. This can help refresh the configuration and eliminate any hidden setting conflicts.
- Once these updates are made, be sure to re-publish your form so the changes are applied to the live version. If the issue still continues, try duplicating the multiple choice field and replacing the original with the new version. This helps rule out any form field-specific glitches that may be contributing to the problem.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
