Attached PDF document title is showing numbers

Hello,

I have two forms that were cloned from each other (JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS (DOT/AIRFIELD) & JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS (COMMERCIAL)) The commercial one is giving me an output with the job name and number but the DOT/AIRFIELD one is giving me a pdf number that is randomly generated. How can I match the output from the commercial one on the DOT one? I am not sure why they are different.

The commercial form is showing the job name and number because it has a custom filename or field mapping set, while the DOT/AIRFIELD form is using a default randomly generated PDF number.

Here’s how to match the output of the commercial form on the DOT/AIRFIELD form:

1. Open the DOT/AIRFIELD form in PDF Editor.
2. Go to PDF Settings on the right side.
3. Edit the PDF File Name field. You can assign a custom filename using form fields like job name and number to match the commercial form’s output.

Once you set the filename to use the desired form fields, the PDF output will match the commercial form’s format.

Are you referring to the filename of the attached PDF on your email notification? If so, I cloned and tested your form on my end, and I can replicate the issue. When I checked your email notification setup, it seems that you haven't selected a PDF template that will be attached to the email. You need to select one so the PDF filename will be updated. I also checked these templates in the PDF Editor and they're already setup with the unique filename. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar.
2. Then, click on Emails on the left panel and click on Pencil icon on Notification 1.
3. Go to Advanced tab, and select one PDF template in Attach PDF option before clicking on Save.
