Hi Patrick,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
To connect Cash App for payments on your form, you can use the Cash App Pay integration via Square. Here's how to do it:
- Create or edit your form in the Form Builder.
- Click Add Form Element at the upper-left side of the page.
- Go to the Payments tab and search for Cash App Pay.
- Add Cash App Pay to your form by clicking or dragging it.
- In Payment Settings, select the mode (Live or Test) and click Connect via Square to link your Square account.
- Configure business location, currency (USD only), and payment type options.
Note: Cash App Pay via Square works only with U.S. Square accounts and supports USD currency.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Patrick,
If the Cash App Pay integration via Square didn't solve your issue, please ensure your Square account is U.S.-based and set to USD currency, as these are required for the integration to work. If everything is set correctly and you still face issues, please provide more details about the problem you're encountering.

Hi Patrick,
I took a look at one of your forms (Mobile Jump Shots), and it’s already connected to Square, where Cash App Pay is available, you can see that in the screenshot below:
Please share a bit more about the trouble you're running into. That’ll help us give you clearer and more accurate guidance on how to get everything working smoothly.
Also, like Podo mentioned earlier, Cash App Pay via Square integration only works with U.S.-based Square accounts. It supports USD only, and it won’t function with non-U.S. Square accounts, even if they're connected. So while you can connect a Square account from outside the U.S., Cash App Pay won’t be available unless that account is registered in the U.S.
If you're unsure or want to double-check the setup, we also have a helpful guide on How to Integrate Jotform with Cash App Pay that walks you through the full process.
And if you're seeing something unexpected or a specific error, feel free to send us a quick screen recording showing what’s happening on your end. It really helps us see what you’re seeing. You can use a free tool like Loom (or anything similar), then just drop the link here so we can take a closer look.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot, that really helped clarify things. Based on the error shown, it means that the connected Square account hasn’t been fully enabled to accept payments yet. This usually happens if the Square account hasn’t gone through the complete setup or verification process needed to process transactions through platforms.
To move forward, it’s a good idea to double-check whether the Square account connected to your form is fully set up to receive payments. Make sure it’s active and approved for payment processing. If you’re unsure, reaching out to Square’s support team can help confirm this. They can check on their end if the account is live and ready to accept payments, and also guide you through any remaining steps needed to get everything working smoothly.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
