I am a small website designer working with very small local businesses. Jotform is my go-to form when clients have unusual situations. I built a website, https://lanebc.com, recently, and used Jotform in the homepage layout. Today I found out that my client had not been receiving email notifications when a prospect submitted the contact form. When I went to check, I saw that the form was a Jotform, so I thought I had set up an account for the client, Lane Business Consulting. I usually do not have the id and pw for the account but I do not see one on the file jacket. I checked to see if I had built the form here on my account, but I do not see it. I have posted the script used to present the form. if you can tell me the username on the account or who the owner I can probably figure out the email id and request a pw change if I don't have the proper info. Or do you have another recovery method I can use? Thanks for your help.

Hi Frank,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
Unfortunately, Jotform does not disclose information about the owner or username of forms created by other users. The best approach is to contact the form owner directly if possible.
Here’s how you can try to recover or locate the form in your account:
- Check your My Forms page at https://www.jotform.com/myforms/ to see if the form appears there.
- Look in the Archive and Trash folders on the lower left side of the My Forms page in case the form was accidentally archived or deleted.
- If you cannot find the form or access the account, you or your client can visit the Jotform account recovery guide at https://www.jotform.com/help/how-to-recover-your-jotform-account/ and fill out the recovery form provided.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Frank,
Unfortunately, we cannot share the username or email address on the Jotform account associated with the form. When I checked the form in our system, I found it is under this email addres, *o*r**n*@*an**c.com. If you recognize the email address, you can try resetting your password so you can access the account. Let me show you how to do it:
1. Go to the Jotform Main page and click on Login at the top-right corner of the page.
2. In the window that opens, click on Forgot Password?.
3. Enter your email address, and then click on Send Reset Instructions.
4. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Open the email and click on the Reset Password button.
5. Enter your new password, enter it again to verify it, and then click on Create a New Password.
There you go. Your new password is now set, and you can use it to log into your Jotform account. You can also check out our How to Reset Your Jotform Password guide for more information.
Reach out again if you need any other help.
