Hello,
I am wondering if I can change the email where order information is sent to on an ecommerce app without changing my main account info. I am not seeing that in the guide.
Thank you

Hi John,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
You can change the email address where order information is sent without changing your main account info by updating the notification email settings in your form or app integration. This allows you to specify a different email for receiving order details.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Can the email address be different for each app if I have mutlitple apps?

Hi John,
Yes, you can set a different notification email address for each app by updating the email recipients in the notification settings of each form or app integration. This way, each app can send order information to a unique email without changing your main account email.

I am not using a form. I set up products through the app builder

Hi John,
Since you're using the App Builder and not forms, you can change the email for order notifications within the app's settings. Look for the email or notification settings in your app builder dashboard where you set up your products. There, you should be able to specify the email address to receive order info without changing your main account email.

I don't see email or notification settings in my app builder. Can you please guide me or send screenshot?

Podo: Support AI AgentReplied on July 12, 2025 at 11:05 AM
Hi John,
Currently, the App Builder does not have a direct email or notification settings section like forms do. To change the email receiving order info, you need to set up email notifications within the form linked to your app or check the integration settings if you use third-party apps.
If you need detailed steps or screenshots for form email settings, I can provide those.

Hi John,
Currently, the App Builder itself doesn’t support assigning different email recipients. The only way to change the email that receives order notifications without changing your main account email is by using a workaround through embedded forms.
First, you need to create an Order form. After creating the Order form, it’s easy to send Notification Emails to another email address or multiple recipients. There are two ways to do it. I’ll show you both ways:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
- Hover over the Notification Email and click on the Pencil icon to edit it.
- Then, under the Recipients tab, just enter a new email address and click on the Save button.
Once you're done, you can create a new App with an embedded Order Form. That form will send order details to the notification email address you set.
Reach out again if you need any other help.

Hi John,
When you create a form and add form fields, a Notification email is created automatically. I checked your form, and it has a Notification email as shown below:
Since your purpose is to change the recipient email, you can edit it, and we have shown the steps above. If you are not seeing it, can you take a screenshot so we can have a better picture of what you are seeing from your end? Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:
1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.
2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.
3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.
5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.
