Does a person need to have a login in order to complete a form? Is there a way to bypass the need for a login to fill out form if so?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.

A person does not need to have a login to complete a Jotform form if the form's access settings are set to Public. Public forms are accessible to anyone with the form link without requiring registration or login.

If your form is set to Private or Company Access, it will require users to log in to access it. To allow users to fill out your form without logging in, you can change the form's access settings to Public.

Here’s how to get the public link:

    1. Go to Form Builder and click the Publish tab on the top orange bar.
    2. Under the Quick Share tab, click on Copy Link.
    3. Share this link with your users so they can fill out the form without logging in.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you share your form as public, the users don't need a Jotform account to fill it out. But if you shared the form using the Invite By Email method in the Publish tab of the Form Builder, users will be required to log in using the invitation when they attempt to access your form from the email invitation. This is because this method assigns the form to the users.

If you want to share the form via email but not require the users to log in, you would have to do the following steps instead:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
    2. Click Email on the left tabs.
    3. Select the Share on Email option. How to share the form and not require users to log in? Image 1 Screenshot 30
    4. Go to the Recipients tab.
    5. Input the recipient’s email address into the To box.
    6. Click on Send. How to share the form and not require users to log in? Image 2 Screenshot 41

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
