I have installed Jotform in my production environment after using it in sandbox. But when i submit a form it is creating records in my sandbox and not production. Can you please assist?

Hi Shereen,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant. I'll do my best to help you until someone from the support team is available.
It seems your form submissions are creating records in your Salesforce sandbox instead of your production environment. This usually happens when the integration is still linked to the sandbox instance.
Here’s how to fix it:
- Go to your form's Settings tab in Jotform.
- Open Integrations and select Salesforce.
- Re-authenticate your Salesforce account to connect to your production environment instead of sandbox.
- Check and update the Salesforce Object mapping to ensure it points to production objects.
- Save the integration settings and test by submitting a form.
This should redirect submissions to your production Salesforce instance.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Shereen,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To fix the issue with creating records in your Salesforce Sandbox instead of production, you need to reintegrate your Salesforce to your form and use your Salesforce production account. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar on the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. Click on Integrations on the left side of the page and click on Salesforce.
3. Next, click on the Trashcan icon on your current integration and click on the Yes, Delete button on the confirmation window.
4. Click on the Add New Action button, click on the Dropdown or Use Another Account, and select your Salesforce account.
5. Now select Action, map your form field to Salesforce again, and click on the Save button once done.
If your production account isn't appearing in the dropdown list and clicking the Use Another Account button redirects you to the Salesforce Sandbox, try logging out of your Salesforce Sandbox in your current browser. Alternatively, you can use a different browser to reintegrate your Salesforce production account.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.

Does this mean that if you create a form into sandbox when you are ready to move it to production you need to create the integration again?

Hi Shereen,
If you've integrated your form with a Salesforce Sandbox and want to use the same form with your production Salesforce org, you'll need to remove the existing sandbox integration and re-integrate with your production Salesforce account.
Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

I just can’t get it to work and switch. In Jotform there’s no way to tell which Salesforce environment I am connected to. Also there is not a disconnect/remove integration button etc.
Thanks
Shereen

Hi Shereen,
To help us look into this, can you share with us the link to the form with Salesforce Sandbox integration? You can easily find your form's URL in Form Builder. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- In the Quick Share tab, click on Copy Link in the Share With Link section.
Once you share the form URL with us, we’ll be able to help you better with this.

I’ve been trying to connect to sandbox but not sure what I’m connected to anymore. Yesterday I was testing by submitting a form and the records got created in production.
Thanks for any help on this

Hi Shereen,
I checked your form and saw that it is still not connected to Salesforce Integration. The Salesforce integration must have a green check mark indicating your Salesforce account is connected to your form. Take a look at the screenshot below for reference:
If this is not the form you are referring to, can you send wirh us the correct Form URL?
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

This is my other form, it think it may be connected to my production as I see the green check on its integration. It does not tell me which salesforce environment I am connected to.

How do I get the other form below to connect to my sandbox environment? Is it possible to have one form connected to sandbox and the other connected to production?

Do I need to create a separate Jotform account for sandbox so I can test in two environments? I do not want to delete the action mappings in the integration for each form and start all over again when I am ready to go back to production.
Thanks,
Shereen

Hi Shereen,
Unfortunately, once your Salesforce integration is successfully connected, you won’t be able to see whether you’re connected to a sandbox or production environment. To check the account or Salesforce environment, you’ll need to remove your current integration and reconnect to the account you want to use. Just be sure to remember which account you connected previously. Let me show you how to do it with the cloned version of your form:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar on the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. Click on Integrations on the left side of the page.
3. Next, click on Salesforce, then click on the Trashcan icon on the integration banner, and click on the Yes, Delete button on the confirmation window.
4. Now click on the Add Integration button.
5. Then click on the Dropdown button under Authentication. This will show recently connected Salesforce accounts.
If you don't see the account you want to connect with integration, you can click on the Use another account button below the Dropdown button.
You might want to check out our guide on How to Integrate Jotform With Salesforce.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
