Quota Still Exceeded After Deleting Submission Data

I have deleted 63 submissions, all of them had pdf uploads attached. Nonetheless no extra space has been created, and it still displays the error message "You've exceeded your quota".

I have checked, my trash is empty.

    Hi Rein_Ernst,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand form submissions were deleted to free up storage space. However, the Jotform account still shows “You've exceeded your quota”. We'll look into this together and see what's causing this.

Deleting form submissions isn't enough to free up storage space; you'll need to purge them from the Trash entries. Here's the helpful guide on How to Delete Form Submission Data. I've also shared the steps below to follow:

    1. From My Workspace/Forms, select the form and click the Submissions button.
    2. In the forms Table, delete the form submissions.
    3. Then click the three-dot icon on the tab.
    4. Then go to the Trash entries.
    5. Select the deleted form submissions.
    6. Click the Delete Forever.
    7. Finally, hit the Delete button.

Clearing the cache of your forms can also be helpful. The steps can be followed through this guide on How to Clear Your Form Caches.

    Hi Kris,

As mentioned in my initial post, my trash has already been purged, there are no items in trash.

    Cache cleared, not improvement.

I have deleted another 40 entries (now a total of 80 entries), and my space used stayed exactly the same.

    Hello Rein_Ernst,

The clearing of the form caches worked as your Jotform account doesn't show over the limit status anymore. Can you try to log out of your Jotform account, clear the cache and cookies of the browser you're using most of the time, and log in back?

Keep us updated and let us know if you require additional help.

    Hi Kris,

I have logged out, cleared browser cache and logged back in, and still experience the same issue, although my available space has now updated to show ~50MB freed up from the deleted submissions. This did not resolve the issue.

I just noticed that the problem is confined to one form. It does not have signature automation enabled. Currently has 11 submissions. Screenshot of the issue below.

    Hi Rein,

I have reviewed your account and currently, your Upload Space usage is at 59.23 MB / 100.00 MB. I have also checked out your forms, and I was able to access it without any issues, as shown in the screenshot.

Could you try accessing your form using a different browser or incognito? If the issue does not persists, I would suggest clearing your browser cache.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
