New PayPal Integration

    Morning!


    Can you tell me how the PayPal and Venmo options work in the new widget?

    I've got PayPal figured out and that's what we want to use, but the College doesn't have a Venmo account so how does the Venmo option work?

    Regarding the PayPal and Venmo options in the new widget:

    PayPal integration requires a PayPal Business account and allows you to accept payments directly through your connected PayPal account. Venmo is available as a payment method for customers in the US through PayPal, but the College does not need a separate Venmo account to accept Venmo payments. Venmo payments are processed via PayPal's system, so as long as you have PayPal set up, customers can choose Venmo as a payment option if they are in the US.

    I don't see a way to not display the Venmo option either. Ok, it seems like they can pay via PayPal using Venmo as a payment method.

    Hi Mid,

    You are correct. Venmo payments are processed through PayPal, so customers can choose Venmo as a payment method within PayPal. Currently, there isn't an option to hide the Venmo payment method in the widget.
