Hello,
I have created an order form that integrates into our website. Everything is working great, expect for one thing. I am trying to create a tax rule, where a tax rate of 9% is applied to order only shipped to Alabama.
I tried setting the base tax rate to 0%. After that, under the "Set Tax Options from a Location" field I selected "shippingaddress: state / province" option, typed in "Alabama" and set the tax rate to 9%. When I tested the live site, it does not add the 9% tax, even when I type in Alabama addresses for both the billing and shipping locations.
I also tried setting the base tax rate to 9%, while also keeping the state specific rate of 9% for Alabama under the "Set Tax Options from a Location" field. This did not work either, and applied a 9% tax to all orders, regardless of state they were selected to ship to. I have attached a screenshot for reference. Your help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Sara

Hi Sara,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I made a test on a cloned form, and it seems to be working correctly. Here is an example:
